Guildwars Books
I have contacted the Guild Wars team and my Idea was to have the Guild Wars campaigns and missions put into books,
Now i think that this is a good idea when one is not able to play the game we are able to immerse ourselves within the books. Needless to say that this is out of my hands but i would like some imput on too those who like my idea,
and it might turn on those who dont play guild wars too start playing it. Its a Win win for us and the Team of Guild Wars.

Wow, thats certainly a babble-fest.
The idea is ok though, just try to break up your sentances a bit. Its all a little confusing.
This should probably be posted in the off-topic section or something.

Didn't sort of a book come with the Prophecies? I remember reading it, the story that was going on before the actual game started. I'd read the rest of the story. If it wasn't made really boring. lol

I don't know about making the campaigns into books, but there definitely was some stories to be told to fill in the dark corners of the guild wars world. Most of those are being filled with the Bonus Mission Pack, but I think there are still things that a good writer can elaborate on and make into a good story. Especially with all that is supposed to have happened between the end of EotN and the beginning of GW2. Of course the books could have very little to do with the games except for making references to places, like the Diablo and Starcraft books do, just to make the world come alive. Hell, Flagship Studios has a trilogy in the works for Hellgate: London, and Guild Wars has more to work with than that game does.

Mmm....
Probably should go read books. GW books not included. Go read the Brothers Karamazov. Should keep you interested.
<---Would not purchase/read GW books if they were printed.

I recall that book being fairly complicated and having many layers of meaning, especially for much of the audience here that won't even read simple books :P
Catch-22 can also get pretty crazy, but should be a much easier read
As for beginners, Cat's Cradle is nice.
How did this thread turn into a "recommend good books" thread >.>

When it showed itself to be a pretty bad idea at the start and people said they don't read.
